Based in Bang Kapi, Bangkok, Khao Jai Dee is an independent mobile game studio. The company name means "understands well" in Thai, and we design short animated story games for Android in which players guide a character by choosing what happens in the next frame.

The studio grew out of animation work. Every scene is hand-animated, and the story only moves forward when the player understands what a character wants.

Each chapter lasts a few minutes and ends on a small, kind resolution. Choices change how a scene looks and sounds rather than punishing the player, so there is no wrong answer, only a different way the story unfolds. Chapters can be replayed to see every path, and subtitles are available in Thai and English.

Our first stories follow everyday life in a Bangkok neighbourhood, from a lost cat to a noodle stall that needs a new recipe. They are gentle, suitable for all ages and designed to be enjoyed together by parents and children.
